2002 Chevy Blazer Drivers Door lock and actuator replacement

Hello everyone. I'm Richard and new here. Nice to meet you. I joined because I am having trouble replacing the drivers door lock assymbly and actuator on my 2002 Blazer. Parts stores can't seem to order the correct one. I have power locks and the key fob alarm. Every actuator seems to only have two pins near the back, mine has four. Not sure what this attaches to . I'll have to take a pic and post it so you can understand better. My question is,does anyone have any experience replacing this unit and can you tell me where you purchased it ? My local chain parts stores are useless. The dealership wants $280 pre paid, and it may or may not work, and not sure about a junk yard for the same reasons. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

I had problems with mine. Door pins where bad when I got the car and previous owner thought that slamming the door was the way to go.Latch was broke out on door frame. Welded that up but latch was ruined. Car had lots of problems and finally purchased the original manuals and got a part number for lock assy and purchased off of ebay. When it arrived it was not right. But I was able to disassemble it and use the latch assy and my old electronic lock. Also my car is a 99 The latch was a gm product and still works good to this day.

It's always something. Found a lock assymbly at the dealership and they want $282 and not even sure if it will work.

I went back to ebay to check purchases and could not go back far enough. Do you want me to check a part number for you? I still have the box with the power assy that came with the one I ordered. Yours was newer than mind and might work for you. I have the manuals and parts in my storage room. I have moved back from Hawaii and not all is unpacked. Let me know what you would like me to do? Be happy to do for you!

Door lock

I appreciate it but don't bother. I spent yesterday at a junk yard and bought the complete assymbly for $50. It looks correct and working. I'll go out and put it in shortly. Wish me luck. Thank you again for your help.
