For beginners, when was the last time you`ve changed out the spark plugs, spark plug wires?Or even a new coil? These 3 things along, makes a world of a difference.Another idea (which is costly) to have a true set of dual exhaust installed.Thats when you have a 2 1/4 pipe running from the driver side manifiold through the cat, through the muffler into the tail pipe.Repeat the same task on to the passenger side. You would have an exhaust pipe for each side of the motor. That`s what you call "A true dual exhaust" But Ive never seen true dual exhaust on any blazer before.I`ve seen guys who did the same thing you`ve done on You tube, but not true dual exhaust.

Going to true dual exhaust isn't going to gain you much over what you have already done and many people do not like the sound if they do go that route. True duals are also quite difficult to package in under these trucks as space is quite limited. Dual 2.25" pipes would be overkill on these engines as well.

As far as power mods, I believe there are a few cam grinds available that would help matters, but it won't be a gain anywhere near a turbo or belt driven lung.

Most people that want HP either turbo or V8 swap and neither are cheap.

The fuel system on these trucks is a major restriction when it comes to performance modifications. The fuel injectors that came stock in your truck are rated at 23.1lb/hr at 63psi which I have heard limits power output to somewhere around 300hp. Many that go to forced induction swap over to the marine 4.3L intake (more info on the swap HERE) that is all aluminum and has external, standard design fuel injectors.
