89 K5 building.. newbie

hey guys, just joined.... figured i give ya a taste of my 89 K5 i'm building up.... picked it up, needed floors, go firgure, so i tore the floors out to bare frame, rebuilt all new cab mounts, and made everything from 3/8 steel, so its stronger than a tank, POR15 the whole frame, 4" lift, leafs up front, ditched the 33's for some 14.5 36" micky thompson's, though the tires are junk they do for now for just moving it in and out of the shop. 1/8" diamond plate "bed" from behind the front seats to the tailgate, new body mount bushings. gota finish welding up the last 2 feeet behind the rear fenderwells to the tailgate and mount up the brackets so the tailgate can actually open instead of the ratchet straps.... hopefully this summer i can finish her up!

Nice looking rig. It's always good to see full size builds.
