1987 K5 build
hey guys, just bought a 1987 K5, has a rebuilt 400 smallblock, 700zr4 trans, 3 inch suspension lift, 33's, and a good bit of rust.
it runs fine, a little sputter here and there but nothing serious. its just gonna need a stronger fuel pump before its ready to deliver a good wheeling session.
problems are,
-rusted floors (taken care of, i used sheet metal, rivets, and sealed it with liquid nails)
- tail lights are seem to be wired wrong
- needs u-joints bad
any tips of suggestions from you guys would be greatly appreciated.
the tail lights worked when i first got it but i dont know what happened, i check all the fuses and i cant figure it out.
I am hoping to make a powerful wheeling truck so again, if you guys can help point me in the right direction of what needs to be done that would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Well that 400 should work out good for a wheeling truck. My buddy has one in his pickup and they are great for torque, just slack a little on the top end.
