Default 96 to a 98+ Grill and light assembly

I'm new at the game of modding and upgrading a car/truck, so I'm asking for help.
When going from an older style grill and light assembly what all do i have to change, i was told it was simple, changing the grill itself is pretty easy but when i put the lights on will the 96 light brackets have to be changed or will the 98+ lights mount on perfectly?

You have to change the core support from a 98+ with that swap.
