98 Blazer 4x4 off road build

Decided to make a build thread for my 1998 Chevy Blazer 4x4. Everything is stock on the vehicle. Only downfall that i have to fix is the 4x4. I bought the truck with only a transfer case, everything else was removed (idk why exactly). So, now im currently in the process of looking at junk yards for the 4x4 parts. So far this is what I found out i need.
-Encoder Motor -Front Drive Shaft -Differential -CV Joints Everything else is there (T case, TCCM). I honestly have no clue to how disassemble the 4x4 parts or install them so this should be fun lol. After I install the 4x4 I plan on installing a 2.5" lift and some larger tires on it. How hard is it really to install a 4x4? haha |
Mines a 98 also ,and started from scratch like yours 1.5 years ago. take your time, do things right and have fun

https://blazerforum.com/forum/attach...ine=1382999697 So did you have to install the 4x4 parts yourself aswell? |
Yes did it all myself, even rebuilt the tranny myself with no prior experience! Add a leafs and tbar cranks, 2 inch body lift, 2 inch wheel spacers, bent and welded the bumper. cold air intake, accel super coil 8mm wires etc
