Basic Blazer (2002)

So I bought this blazer back in 2012 and the only thing I have done to it is, recently, painted the bumper and grille black. I would like to do more to it being that it is my first car I have owned myself, but not sure what to do with it. I cant afford a lift on it right now and not sure if it would even look the best. I want it to be more of an "outback/trail" blazer. But wouldn't you need a lift to ride trails? Anyways any suggestions or ideas on what I could do to her?

First off, that looks like a pretty clean Blazer! Secondly, you don't "need" a lift for trails, but it depends on the trails you're going on. As for mods, you can always do offroad lights, a roof basket, or some form of grill guard/bull bar. Those would all give a nice offroad kind of look and if done right will add some functionality. As for the lift, a body lift is only $200 if you have a buddy that can help you put it on one weekend.

You can also crank the front and put lift shackles in the rear. That blazer is very clean. Just like lazyboy said you don't need a lift to most trails. Ive taken mine though some trails on my familes farm and did just fine

This is your first vehicle you have owned on your own? ... Keep it stock and work on keeping it as reliable as possible. No lifts, no tailgate spare, no jumbo tires. Stock, legal, clean, and insured.
