Howdy all, so this is just a rough start but i will be posting in detail all of the upgrades i did to my 94 s10 blazer. I will also post all the pictures i have that i took along the process.
Upgrades: Completely had the block and heads machined and bored the cylinders 30 over. Engine was built/balanced by local machine shop Larger pistons Comp cam Rollers and rockers Valves Msd ignition Electric fan Poly body, engine and tranny mounts All rubber lines replaced (vacuum, brake lines etc.) All new suspension for front and back All moog steering components Ac conversion Dynomatted entire interior Removed vacuum 4 wheel drive cable and replaced with manual cable Jbs headers to high flow cat to borla exhaust Cold air intake to come I'm sure i have forgotten something but ill get it all on here eventually Basically the only things that were not replaced and upgraded are the front and rear diff, brake booster, tranny and frame haha. Also have not started on the interior yet but truck was extremely babied its entire life. I know personally the first/original owner. Interior is still basically brand new looking. What is next: Need to get the exhaust all welding Alignment Dyno and tune Exterior/interior upgrades Stay tuned |
did you have the ecm flashed/tuned for all these mods, never mind, just noticed. That will make a huge difference

Nice build!
Is the engine the original one? VIN W. Is it running already? Would be nice to get some figures on accelerations and mpg - eventually a dyno run? About the same I'm doing: apart from that just found the right guys to reflash the ECM. If - and I say if one day my JE Pistons will arrive I should be able to test assemble. Using Comp Cam (mildest one) but still has .010 more lift at the cam. Comps Magnum Roller rockers 1.6:1 but have a TBI engine. Will see how that works out. Pretty much the same intentions on the build. Electric Fans. A/C conversion to r134. New stuff is at my place waiting for the engine to be finished. And now I'm off to my machine shop - block needs some grinding. Oil drains and interior deburring. |
Nice! I will be keeping an eye on this one.

Great Build. Very Similar to my Blazer. . Jealous of your engine work. Keep us posted.

Would be nice to see the figures of a chassis dyno pull.
