Default Bolli's '86 Blazer Busch League Build

Hey I probably won't do anything too technical, but I still wanted to chronicalize my efforts as I customize the Blazer, which I named Walter.
It's 2wd and has 121,000 miles.

I saw it on Craigslist almost a year ago now. It ran awesome but had a bad oil leak. Luckily it just needed a new sending unit.

So the first thing I did was take off the running boards. Then I scored the free bench out of a GMC Sonoma, and ditched the buckets and console. I'm very happy with it. And it's nice for when I have a lady in the blazer too.

Thanks man. I got attaked by wasps while extracting the chrome bumpers at the junk yard. And bought these chrome bumper guards on Ebay. They were new in the box from the 80s. This is a huge improvement upon the old nasty grey body color bumpers.

Here is a picture after I changed the bumpers. And then I got new tires yestarday, Goodyear Wranglers. I had to cut some pieces out of the wheel wells in the front, due to some rubbing while turning. I fixed that and took it for a cruise, they ride nice. The old 205s that came with the Blazer were small and crappy, so another huge improvement. The next project will be to sand and paint the tire carrier I scored from the junk yard. It'll look much better on a Steeler fan's Blazer.

Here are some shots I took before I cleaned it up. Note the stickers, cigarettes and condom that it came with.

Yeah Random Guy, still in the package. The PO probably couldn't use it because he had buckets and no bench up front!
