Can the np233 in a 95 blazer be clocked?
 

Hello, I am new here and just learning my way around.... but just as the title says, I am looking to clock the t-case for better drive line angles. I have a 95 Blazin Blazer on Rockwells and 44's. Just trying to keep my front shaft from pulling out when flexing. i can get the rear tire up about 37" then the front shaft comes out. with the shaft out i can get 50" before the front tire comed off the ground(i like that).
That being said does anyone know? I havent looked at it yet but will this weekend, i think its a 5 blot flange.

You would have to get the adapter (what is currently between the transmission and transfer case) re-drilled at whatever angle you need to clock the transfer case and the only restriction I would see is in the design of the adapter itself (ribbing, etc).

Other than that, I don't think there will be any problems with the transfer case itself.

Will the bolt holes line up? I have done this on other builds with the 6 bolt flange and was wondering if the 5 bolt flange is the same way? I just turned the case and the holes lined up on the 6.

You would be drilling new holes in the adapter to clock it the amount required to correct the front driveshaft angle. If you were to clock it using all of the standard holes, it would be one heck of a clock.

yeah.... re-drilling the holes is not an option, i found that out yesterday.... matching the original blot holes is a heck of a clock but the drive shaft hits the mount so that wont work ether(using all 1410 joints). So that brings me to a 241 that was removed from an old project. gonna see how that goes today.
