Custom Bumper vs. Brush Guard

What's the general consensus here, I got a got who could weld up a custom bumper with the light/grille guard bars on it for relatively cheap but should I pay more for that or go cheaper and keep the stock bumper (minus the valence) and buy a brush guard?

I'm thinking something like this http://www.tacticalarmorgroup.com/Po...incher-023.jpg

vs

(I'm assuming that 2nd one is someone on here but I got it from google images so idk who's it is....looks awesome though)

If your truck is lifted i'd go with the 1st one. If you truck is stock or close to stock i'd go with the 2nd one.

Tuff choice, I'd go with #1 myself.

Yeah, I would say the first one would look great with some nice big tires.

the first one looks a lot like the one im in the process if welding up for mine, minus the bar on top

Top one looks a lot more expensive. Thing is pretty cool thou

I've never been a fan of the bumpers with the light and grille guards built in. Personally, I'd stick with just the custom bumper without the guards, or the straight up brush guard. :icon_shrug:
