Hanky's Black 2000 LS

Decided to make a Build Thread after owning this blazer for a little over two months.

This is basically what it looked like when i got it (it was dirtier and had a sunroof deflector thing on it, even though there is no sunroof)

Since then, I have: vacuumed out the nasty interior
removed stickers from all over the bumpers and windows
removed the running boards
http://i1201.photobucket.com/albums/...2-06162104.jpg
installed interior LED's for the front seats

Installed a Flowmaster Super 44 mufler

Over the past two days I have given the car a full body wax and gotten my powdercoated wheels on.
I will have these pictures up tomorrow or the next day.
Tomorrow the blazer is having front end work done because it has THE NASTIEST squeak in the right front control arm bushing. It also has really bad tie rod ends ( you can hear a knocking noise when you do a slalom like maneuver).
Some of my future goals for this blazer is a custom bull bar that I am making from the remains of a brush guard that my dad is using for his blazer.
I would also like to black the car out a little more by possibly removing the pinstriping and doing something about the directionals and tail lights.
The chassis and the whole underneath of the car will be painted black as soon as I can get an available lift at my shop
There will also be an "AWOOGA" horn somewhere in this blazers future.
I will keep this updated as frequently as I accomplish things.

Spring Cleaning:
Gave the blazer it's first full wash and wax under my ownership

Here's a comparison of what the paint looked like originally and then what a little wax did to it

Here's the finished product

Partially painted the chassis and powdercoated the rims.

Wow, every looking nice! I know each shop charges different, but what did the powercoat run you?

I have connections so the powdercoating was free, but another place said they were gonna charge $75 per wheel. i wouldn't pay 300 just for black paint.
