Small update. Installed poly bushings in the ford shackles im running up front tonight... rides much better, worn rubber bushings suck.

Tomorrow i will be installing this...



I also need to replace my rag joint on the steering shaft. I bought one from the autozone help section...

 

Why dont you replace the rag joint with a flame universal joint?\

Oh wow. That's the cheapest price ive seen... I may pick up a spare shaft in the future and mod it with the flaming river joint, but i just want a quick fix for now.

 

Indeed thats the cheapest I found too... I plan on doing this someday.

 

Very nice!! I love how it looks almost stock but built the way it should have been from the factory.

 

There's also another company that sells the joint but a different brand on Ebay for like $32. I think I read about it on s10forum not sure but everything I read was good I can find it Monday when I'm in front of a computer

Well... i didnt do the rag joint today. Honestly i may just buy that ebay joint or the flaming river and return the autozone one.
