i wasnt planning on lowering it but the last month ive been contemplating it,
ive been looking into it,was looking at a kit "ground force" on ebay with 3in drop springs
and 3in drop blocks,but ive heard the 3in springs throw the
pinion or something else outta wack and its a real rough ride. .idk, i hear
drop spindles are the way to go cuz they keep everything on point and dont
sacrifice ride comfort but i havent seen any drop spindles under $300 and
thats a bit pricey for me atleast for the moment, u have any knowledge on
that ground force ebay kit?

I'm in the same situation. When I get up to speed or hit a bump, my front 2 doors rattle like crazy. It seems the pieces are coming off my door panel as well. I might look in to the velcro thing too. Or maybe try to put those pieces back in somehow. Hmm...

Nope, sorry. I have no real knowledge of 2WD suspension kits, never owned one.

However, from what I know from my Neon owning days, lowering springs generally do ride rougher than stock. Everyone's opinion of how bad the ride is will differ, however. What some people think is a "harsh, awful ride" others will say feels great, and the car handles on rails and such.

Really, only way to tell is to ride in a vehicle someone else has put that kit on, or put it on your own truck. Worst case, you take it back off and put your stock stuff on. (oh, and the wasted money)

As far as the pinion being out of line, I could see that. The factory has the pinion angle set up a certain way so everything moves the way it should, and that angle needs to be kept pretty close. However, that kit has lowering blocks. I would hope that they are angled to rotate the rear end properly. If not, you just have to shim the diff a bit to get that angle back, not too terrible. (it's a bit more complicated than that, but I'm simplifying for conversational purposes)

i was wondering about the door speakers that is,most people seem to have
factory sized 6.5in speakers in there door panels, mine are 5.25in my question
is can i fit 6.5's or will i need some sort of adapter?

reason i ask is cuz i was thinking of cutting out the grill like most blazer owners
have done so(to make the speakers stand out) and they all seem to have 6.5s
and the panel grill measures at about 7.25in.

Update 3/15/12 just finished retesting my MPG with the intake on,it
improved 1.983MPG MORE:icon_woot:,thats great! my method of
testing was fill tank up til it clicks & reset trip on spedo,drive car til
about empty,when back @ gas station write down howmany miles i
drove,refill tank til it clicks,write down exactly how many gallons it
took to refill & divide that by ur miles u wrote down & u have ur MPG!
test were at same gas station,same pump,1st test was 3months
ago(stockairbox) & just finished the 2nd with C.A.I. about the same
driving conditions and easy on the pedal both times. A small victory
in the war against rising gas prices but i feel like i just gave it the middle finger:icon_biggrin:

the dropped a arms are the way to go
i have 3in drop arms on my fullsize. you can use your factory springs, shocks and the ride is factory

ordered my new speakers,went with a semi-premium speaker, sony xplod 6.5in
door speakers model XS-GT1627A, seem to have great reviews on every site
i researched.cant wait to get them.

the last of my speaker equipment arrived yesterday,so i got to work
today!:icon_biggrin: wasnt hard to install or take long either, the speaker
wire adapters cut time and kept a clean look. the aftermarket speaker
mounts lined right up with the old holes where the ribbets were.

speakers sound great! good bass for 6.5s and they sound clear,crisp & loud:icon_headbang:

so tomorrow or actually today now i might possibly be getting my hands on
2 kickers in a box and a 1200watt almani 2ch amp,i went and picked up a amp
wiring kit yesterday afternoon before i went in to work,got off and started
installing the wires at about midnight which was only a few hours ago,figured
i rather do right outta work then have to wake up early cuz guys i am not a
morning person:icon_no: ,oh btw it is a pain to get the power cable through
the passenger side firewall:mad: that took me about an hour just to get it
through the rest was cake, so hopefully if all goes well tomorrow i will have
some Boom Boom BASS haha well gnite peoples

Blazer is looking good. I liked the wheels you got and everything, but like said before, to much of a gap and it looks pretty goofy. Glad you put the stock ones back on.

Have you thought about getting a tire rack for the tailgate?
