So.. I had picked myself up a 1992 blazer, It was on kijiji but i seen it in the guys garage one day... asked him how much. I just happened to have 400 in my pocket he wanted 400 and i offered 300 and he took it. Transmission was blown, gas tank was rusted, 3 good tires other one was blown to peices, rockers were all there untill we started working.. they were rusted too so the bad was cut out and im working on that. exhaust was chopped and wrecked. the interior was nasty dirty there is black mold on the carpet hood didnt open, rear ends missin bolts and the front drive shaft is messed up and shocks in the rear were gone, both rear drums wouldnt come off. BUT it started and the digital dash worked so it was good to me!

So as of right now i have only driven the truck twice in the few months i have owned it. It has new, muffler, cat, Y pipe, exhaust bolts, rear shocks, gas tank, fuel pump, fuel filter, transmission, transmission lines, floor was patched and rock guarded, rear diff still missing 1 bolt. carpet is going to be shampooed come spring time all new 31's around the truck, I tried my best to get the drums off but i cant. anyways, the truck has come along way but since i got it i had lost my job, so ive been building it with the money i had stashed away and i dont like doing things cheap so i bought was was good and what was needed

Starting to look good! How's the body? I don't now where you're from so I can't even guess. That sounds like a lot of work! I'm surprised that thing didn't find its way into the junkyard!

I live in selkirk manitoba but for the most part the body was better then the most of them are here, my 1/4s are good, rockers are bad and my floor was bad, the rest of the truck is solid though! i dont have a funny picture of the truck but i will once it comes out of the garage lol

Sounds like a fun project, thats the only thing I have problems with on my car I need some body work done but I'm hoping to at least get it in primer by the end of this year.

WOW!!! talk about saving one already in the grave!

sounds like you have your game plan set, and are working @ getting it done.

sorry to hear your plans are a little side tracked due to your recent lay-off. been in the same boat off & on for the last 2 years, so i know how you feel about trying to get your plans for your truck done.

GL.
