My 2000 Blazer LT
 

Hello everyone, and welcome to my 'build' thread. It will be full of mostly repairing the many issues I have, but also I will be customizing a few things on it and hope to get as much input/criticism as I can. Getting started...

First off, my blazer! (please note I have painted the front bumper since this picture, I will post more current pics eventually)

Its completely stock as it sits, with 150k miles. My plans so far...

My first project, will undoubtedly be repairing my transmission valve body. The transmission has the infamous hard 1-2 shift, and the torque converter is super sluggish in unlocking/locking. I'm hoping a valve body rebuild kit will remedy the issue, as the transmission is in great condition otherwise. :icon_denk:

Next will be replacing the whole distributor assembly, as well as the updated fuel injectors (eventually)

Eventually I want to get some new rims/tires. Still unsure on what I want, but the stock rims are driving me nuts! I'm deciding between Soft 8's and some MB predators that I have seen before. If anyone has any other recommendations on good stock-height rims, I'm all ears! I'm trying to keep it looking clean, no crazy SAS with 40" tires or anything like that. I don't do a whole lot of off roading, and highway comfort/mpg is fairly important.

Other than that, I have to replace the idler arm due to a little play, little bit of rust repair, repair/replace exhaust, and maybe eventually a small lift.

I plan on taking pictures as I go, but don't expect updates all the time, as funds are limited :icon_goofygrin: Any opinions/ideas are very welcome! :icon_steer:
