Hey everyone, new here. I just thought I'd show off what I have done to my 98 Jimmy and share my build up and love of all things S10 with everyone.

Well in 2011 I bought a beautiful 96 Jimmy SLT as my first car. I had plans of what I wanted to do with it but being in high school at the time I couldn't afford it.

Sadly my time with her was short lived.

But later that year after the insurance company finally came through and I found a chance to build on.

A beautiful 98 4door, with a few body flaws and 110,000 on the clock.

First thing to go was the boring stock tail lights
I got these clear Euro Anzo lights from Summit Racing.

Then I decided the ugly stock Jimmy Rims needed to go.
I got some 16 inch Touren rims with some 30 inch Mastercraft Courser AT2s.

Recently I added some offroad lights on the roof.

That's all I've got done so far but I'm only getting started.
I've got my eye on some 2 inch shackles, a 2 inch body lift, new exhaust, bigger tires, bed liner, a 2 door spare tire carrier and much more.

Plus I have these to go on yet.

It looks really clean. I like those wheels, you don't ever see them on Blazers or Jimmys

Loganstien 02-26-2014 11:31 AM

Thanks. Yeah I've only ever seen them on a Jetta that's in my town.

lookin good ...

i like how its coming along just so u know rough country has a 2.5 lift kit with shocks and everything for right around 450 and the install isn't to hard ... easier if you can use someones lift you will need a sawzall tho to cut some webbing off the front diff. for clearance, the N2O shocks are a nice ride as well only other thing u will do is replace the torsion keys and the upper arms with new tube style ones then you will need to get an alignment good luck on your build

My shackles should be in tomorrow and once my tax return comes through I'm gonna get my bodylift. I love it more each day. :icon_qtank:

I don't know if anyone is really reading this, but my shackles came in today!

But sadly, I'm off to my work week starting tonight so I won't be getting much done for a few days but next time I post my truck should be sitting a couple inches higher.

Maybe not,,, but you might be in for a battle getting the bushings out. We`ve all been through it.. I drilled the rubber out of mine then used a chisel to get the metal sleeve out

That's what I've heard. PB Blaster and a torch seem they might be a good help.

Sure looks like you've got a GREAT start to your ride!! I too like those wheels and hadn't even heard of them until seeing them in your post. Might have to look into those instead of what I've been planing on going with for my wheels.

It looks like I need to go cruising the wrecking yards again as I LOVE that your transmission shifter is on the floor, not the column. I'd like to change mine to the floor and then go ahead and swap out the steering column too so I don't have to modify my existing column to delete where the shifter is.

Where'd you get your headlights and grille through? Those looked pretty sharp too!

Thanks man! I found the headlights on Ebay and the grille on Amazon, might be cheaper to try to find the grille in a wrecking yard. I know I over paid on mine.
