Nice. how much you get it for? and what do you plan on doing to it?

MOIVGSTER 08-23-2010 05:44 PM

What kind of budget do you have? I'd say an LS series swap would be SICK

blazerboy001 08-23-2010 07:27 PM

X 500,000,000! That would be LEGIT dude! ha

MOIVGSTER 08-23-2010 07:39 PM

well right now im just mowing lawns right now. whats a Ls series is that like a custom exhaust or engine or something. the engine needs a new flywheel and headgasket so im trying to think if i should buy a new engine or rebuild the engine that is in it but what kind of sucks is the previous owner swapped it with a 67 camaro engine so that kind of sucks

MOIVGSTER 08-23-2010 07:42 PM

oh yeah now i remember what the ls series is its gm engine right that is in the corvette

find yourself a 350 v8 out of another truck. why put a racing motor in a k5? you need torque and horsepower. pulling horsepower. or to turn 35". 350 are easy to work on. cheapest motor i've come across to rebuild and are simple to diagnose if they do have any problems.

just my 2 cents:icon_shrug:

ya ive been on the look out for 350 engines that are cheap and dont have many problems that are wrong with it cause but im not sure if its worth rebuilding the engine that is in it right now which it needs a new flywheel and head gasket
