Sorry to hear about the Yukon that always sucks, hopefully there were no bodily injuries or anything. But on another note, your truck is a friggin monster! Hows that 5.3 stuff coming along?

Sometimes simplicity works best. I'll keep this in mind in case there are any issues with the 4x4 engaging properly due to vacuum issues on my son's 85 Chevy S10 Blazer.

OMG that was a long week spent reading this 146 pages build. Man I got to say thank you for sharing all the input. I didn't know what to do to my blazer and now after reading this build, it has inspired me to build mine ( Not as Extreme as yours lol) but a mild build. I bought mine about a month ago and now she is working her way closer. You have done a excellent job building and fabricating. It looks amazing keep up the good work and keep us updated. Thanks again. Ps: I love it

Thanks for the compliments guys!

I just ordered up the pieces I need to get the new 14b swapped under the rig with a push from my buddy since he is very close to needing the one that is under it now! Another bonus is that after rereading my thread I remembered that my front axle is geared 4.10 so I will finally be 4wd soon as well Now I just have to make the damn truck run!

Awesome build!! I'm going to bookmark and reference this as I work on my build, though I'm sticking mostly stock except for the Monstaliner, rear storage, hitch and tires for the first year or so. I hope to get my build page started within a few days once I get some pics and ideas going.

Nothing major sadly. It's running again but like crap so I've got a bunch of parts arriving this week to swap the distributor to a billet one and do a full tune up with all new ac Delco parts. I'm on vaca in Siesta Key this week so when I get back I'll do some work on it. I also have my new 14b ready to be swapped in next week then I'll get the tcase swapped and be able to finally have some 4x4.

My buddy decided I have taken long enough to get him the axle I sold him months ago so with much heckling from him I finally got them swapped out today.

I had a set of z85 leaves waiting to swap at the same time as the axle so I swapped those as well. I also took the second longest leaf from my factory pack and swapped it into the z85 pack for a little extra help. The z85 has a larger wrap so my shackles wouldn't fit them without some modification.

I'm happy I did it and I also turned them around so now they can fully swing either direction without interference so that is a huge improvement over the previous setup. My shackle angle is much better as well

With the new springs. The pic makes it look lower in the rear but it almost level in perso.
I also threw my new center caps that I've had laying around forever just because

Tomorrow I'll swap the dizzy and do a full tuneup since the last of my parts arrived today.

Center caps look really good on those wheels.
