Thanks Kpearson!
So stupid me forgot my truck keys at home AGAIN for the third day in a row!!! I can't get into my truck so no progress on figuring out wiring
I think I'm gonna grab some steel today though and see what I can come up with in the way of some sliders

They're also called Safari style doors. Mostly it gives you the open air feel (like a Jeep) while still being legal, and safe in a vehicle not designed to run doorless.

Got some steel today
. It's 3x2 .120 wall same thickness most commonly used for roll cages so it should hold up!

And then they became 3 pieces

Test fit

A shot of my sh**** welding)

All three feet tacked on. They look crooked in the pic but its because they are at different angles since the frame isn't straight.

And one is fully burned in and cleaned up nicely

I ran out of time hopefully I can get some more done tomorrow.
This is just the start of them tho I will be adding some 2x2 and making a step as well but I'm going to get both built and then start the step part.

Nice, grinding down the welds huh, I`m to lazy for that!
#489
Yeah if I could weld worth a S I probably wouldn't but since I can't ill make them pretty with a grinder

Hey, those welds aren't that bad!! You should see some of the crap welds holding together the bus work at some of our substations!
