New Long Block Mods ?

4.3 L Stock MPFI Spyder Fuel Injection

I am coming to the point of pulling my new Long Block from S & J Engines
in order to Paint the Engine Bay and Change Oil Pan.

While I have the vehicle down and the Engine Out . . .
What would be some possible medium level mods which would be suggested ?
Open Ended Question - I know.
Would be looking at durable-longevity mods, more so than HP increase mods ?
Upgraded Oil Pump, Upgraded Cam, More Durable Lower Bearings / Upper Bearings ? ? ?

Thanks,
cferry7

Basically the question is this...

How much you wanna spend? If you are thinking less then 300 bucks, click off this thread.

you can do a mild cam swap for 250ish,then you got a ecm program for 250+ or 500+ for newer 96 style.

aka....meh,il be the typical guy to say do a v8 swap,no? keep it stock. you wont gain but maybe 20 hp.
