Thanks, yeah, really great design by "Giugiaro".

Now it's to puzzle it back together...

Exactly why I’ve never stripped a car down to that level. I give you a lot of credit. How much deeper down the rabbit hole are you going with it?

Well not much further. New cabling came 10 days ago. Engine, transmission and suspensions are ready. Every single bolt has been out, any part rebuilt or replaced.

With corona giving me a lot of time off it's puzzle time. As I have not taken the car apart it's quite a challenge working with pictures from a friends GTV snd the parts catalog.

The last month has seen me fix a lot of the small stuff, broken things which only showed up when mounting the parts. Steering is in as well as electrical, HVAC and all the brake, clutch and fuel lines.

Sound proofing mats.

Engine bay.

Electrical and HVAC.

Underneath all new lines for fuel, clutch and brakes.

Nuts and bolts.

The machine corner.

The Alfa Romeo parts still in stock.

The place I can work in is a restoration garage and specialises in old italian cars and Porsche.

The engine and gearbox corner. We build the engines with the machine shop and put them together here.

Some of the little fixes.

Fix for a broken clip.

OEM looked like this. And there went 2 hours of work to fix this small issue.

Envious of the great shop you get to work in! I have a one-car garage in which to get just a bit more room, I remove the towing hitch on the back of the truck so I can close the door. It is so cramped, I can only take two tires off at a time. Part of that is the stuff I've accumulated over the years but even after cleaning it is still quite cramped. I should take a picture!

Now, with my 82 Prelude in there now for an oil change, perhaps this evening, I can almost dance around it! LOL

Loving the progress... I like how the step by step is showing the car going together, it a like being on the line while it was being built!

LOL - I know how it feels working like this. The access to this shop is what enabled the project to be done ,else now way you could work in a single parking garage. Respect for you working like this. I particularly liked the mention of the towing hitch for the door.
