Hey guys, pretty new around here, been looking at some of your awesome builds and figured I'd get some photos up of my build in its beginning stages.

98 Blazer 2DR 4WD
picked it up with 126k on it for 2500 last year and so far i have put 25k on it with no major problems.

I do not have a project name for this yet. So i am open to suggestions.

Goals with this blazer:
Stand out while not dropping a ton of cash.
Look clean and function as good as it looks.
Improve mileage as much as possible.
Have a very nice sound system.

First pic is when I bought it at the car lot in town. Took it home and hooked up my Jensen flip out dvd player (which has now started to crap out on me and will be getting replaced)

2nd and 3rd are the old and new head units, followed by some interior shots of how clean this blazer is

after a year of having my blazer the only thing I have put into it was some TLC and a new set of firestone destination LE tires this summer which have been great

My roommate is a "minitrucking" enthusiast so we decided to take off the roof rack and he re-done my pinstripe, after that i installed an all black grill and some carbon fiber looking tail lights

we also de-badged at this point as i love the look of de-badged vehicles

so now on to the good stuff the future mod list:

CAI
New rims
Full kicker system, all speakers, a 10 in, sub, amp
new head unit, and the mount that has a small pocket underneath
possibly a PCM tune
Fog lights/driving lights
Need a new valance as mine is cracked and held on with zip ties (previous owners) going to be black
fender flares (will ZR2 fit with a little modification or no?)
new projector headlights with halos and led turn signals as seen on ebay with black backing and clear lenses
led tailgate strip
remote start and keyless entry

plus anything else i can't think of right now, open to suggestions and comments

thanks guys

decided to add a few more mods to the list:

1.25-1.50 t bar crank and 2' rear shackles
new shocks

and eventually after my new tires need to be replaced im going to throw some 30s or 31s on these wheels:

The zr2s have a piece that sticks out on both the front and rear fenders(atleast the s10s do in the rear). You would have to make some bracket or just use front zr2 fenders.
Dont quote me on the rear cuz all I have delt with is the zr2 s10.
My brother just told me the inner fenders are different also. He has some zr2 fenders(no fender flares...sorry) and inners if you would be interested.

i didnt figure they would bolt right up, the flares are going to be a last minute type thing, its not a make or break on this build

installed new black valance, it has been to cold to figure out where i want my fog lights so hopefully get those put on soon, going to remove tow hooks and mount them in there
