Getting a Hunter Brush Guard for Christmas. Any suggestions on fog lights that won't break the bank?

RangerG 12-14-2009 05:07 PM

Clean looking truck! Low mileage too.

As for fog lights. Hella and KC are top for quality. Those are bank-breakers though.

do you want fog's or trail lights?

Phil 12-14-2009 05:42 PM

I'd like fog lights ideally, but I'll take anything to enhance night vision.

Haven't seen many updates from you lately Phil. Any new things going on with the truck (besides the brush guard)?

ABN31B 12-14-2009 05:48 PM

These are poser/not TOO serious off-roading. I would suggest them for 1) a cheap ass 2) someone's trail beater rig 3) someone who wants light but doesnt want to spend much. the fogs are the same as $20 Platinum Burners at Wally World, and the same as any other 4.5"-3" mini-fogs you need.

Well, my gf is possibly going to get me a new headunit I've been eyeballing for a while. But aside from the possible new radio and guard, just been doing the usual- changing the oil, wash every weekend, wax once a month haha.

Thanks, I fall under category #3 since I've got one more semester left.

I was looking at these since my last post:

I was looking to spend between $50-75 and would like round/oval shaped lights. Do those look decent? The reviews are good, only issue I have is that I'm undecided as to if I want chrome or black housings.

well that link just re-directs me to jcwhitney's home page....
