Those look good! You gonna do anything to them?

Oh! A friend of mine has a 1997 Blazer, and I showed him the Edelbrock SDT.
Needless to say... he's ordering one, too. lol

Sweet! I created an exhaust trend!

I'm trying to decide if I wanna paint them black but leave the silver trim, like what Willijones did with his. Only thing holding me off on doing that is I don't want to be ripping off his look from when he had that gnarly ride. Maybe I could take off my bug guard?

I thought he already sold that truck.
But I like the idea of painting them like that.
I also like getting rid of that bug deflector. I hate those! lol

Yeah I believe he sold that and isn't on the forum regularly anymore. As long as you don't live in the same town no one would know either!

Will did sell his Blazer. It's gone . He drives a Subaru now if I'm not mistaken. A little more family friendly with 4 doors now that he has two little rugrats running around.
Anyway, Love those rims. I love the way they were painted on Will's ride too. I don't see him having and issue with it since he's not around much anymore, but I don't want to go speaking for him. Since he doesn't own the Blazer anymore though I don't see why you couldnt? Hell, if someone wanted to copy my Blazer I'd be happy It would mean I did something right lol.

Picked up the rims today, put on my CAI yesterday. The intake install had a hitch though- one of the brackets that bolt onto the TB broke off when IO started it. I don't get it, I tightened all the bolts evenly in a star pattern. Must've been a bad casting. Ended up using the stock plenum and tubing up to the MAF with the heatshield, filter, and piping from the kit.

Going to get the Edelbrock muffler and 2.5" pipes soon. Also looking to ZQ8 sway bars. Next paycheck I'm gonna get the rims seperated from their tires, prep and paint, and then get my current tires switched over.

So theres the CAI. I put on a Spectre filter, hence the sticker. Going to get the tires seperated from rims this week, and try to refinish them this weekend. 31x10.5/15 General Grabber AT2s sound like a good plan to me. Going to do a shackle + coil spring spacer lift.

Added new pics to my garage album, check them out.

That intake looks good.
You know you wanna give me the General Grabber HTS tires.
