Is it possible to do??????

IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIT 33'S WITH ONLY FOUR INCHES OF TOTAL LIFT ON MY 03:icon_shrug:....... IF IT IS IM SO GOING TO DO IT:icon_cool:.......

mikeinwi 08-10-2009 02:40 PM

youll have to do ALOT of trimming

AJBert 08-10-2009 08:08 PM

You could actually fit them with very little lift...

providing you open your wheel wells and gut them considerably.

bigred77 08-11-2009 02:28 PM

could you be more descriptive in the words of gutting my wheel wells?

take your choice of cutting tool and BFH then go to town on your fenders. you could also remove your inner fender liner, but i wouldnt suggest that because who knows what youll kick up into your engine bay. i would also suggest going with a 32 youll still have to trim but it wont be as bad as the 33's.

even using some wheel spacers wouldnt help? i had plans of getting some spacers to widen the stance.

spacers would make the fender rubbing issue worse, itll help to stop from rubbing the frame or sway bar but youll have to trim even more of your fenders.

so if i go with 32x10.5 that wont require as much chopping??????

NVANZEE 08-11-2009 04:34 PM

anything is possible. But like they said 33s would require a lot of trimming. I have roughly 9in of lift and my 33s still rub a little on the trails. But they are 12.5in wide and i have offset wheels. If you stay with stock wheels 32s will fit with a little trimming.

My ZR2 is lifted 2" with 33x12.5 and 33x14 and no issues... Front bumper needed to be trimmed...
