Not sure what exact brand the brush guard is. I picked it up for free off a neighbor. The tires are 255/70R15 General Grabber AT2 on Craiger soft 8s 15x7 with 4.25in back spacing. I am not running a suspension lift and these tires fit perfect with no trimming or rubbing. Also are definitely the biggest tire I can fit without a lift. Im running 1.5in wheel spacers in the back to even it up with the front.
I find with that mine wiggles a lot because of the super low mounting points. I'm thinking it would be easy to fab some simple 2-1/2 to 3" wide angle iron braces that would share the bolts with the tow hooks and simply attach to the upright of the brush guard with a bolt or 2. As it it now I worry that if I hit anything rather than protect the grille it will actually add to the damage.
Question about the color of your truck. Is it RPO 58U? My crewcab is Tan color and is awfully similar, but on the truck it is called Medium Beige Metallic. In earlier years it was called California Gold. (Sounds like the name of some cheap pot), which I understand will be legal in CA soon.
