I saved this jimmy from the scrap yard for $400 back in march and have been doing little to it here and there. Update when I'm off work

 

What is the year of this jimmy?It`s in great shape for it`s age though.

 

its a 96 and I found out that it was wrecked in the left back and was fixed and replaced by the previous owner. It has some peelimg of clear coat on the hood. There was peeling clear coat on the drivers fender and I bought a new one and painted it got it aligned the best I could then forgot my door pins\bushings on my drivers door sagging went to close and scrapped off paint on the fender lol o well I will never buy an aftermarket fender again what a bitch to align.

BTW does anyone know were I can get that lower trim piece on my fender in my picture above.

 

I will be looking to awd this jimmy and removing the engine. I will be doing it next year as right now its way to cold out and I dont have a garage to work in.

 

That`s one thing the aftermarket doesn`t make to well..Body parts.Your question was about a trim piece on your fender?I can`t see what your talking about on my end.That image is cut off of the screen.

 

Im updating this with lots of pictures and for the trim piece I'm looking for it on the drivers side fender lower it flows along with the bottom of front and back drivers side doors.
Mods/Stuff I've Changed so far:
Color matched Grille
Moog Ball joints upper
Ac delco Spark plugs/wires and distributor cap Almost cost more that the whole jimmy
Trans filter/gasket 2 times but pan still leaks probably need new pan
Trans cooler
New Radiator
Home Made Posi Lok Pulled by locking cable soon to be gone

Remove engine fix oil pan leak
Fix Trans pan leak
Air Bag Light on needs fixed
Rear shackle lift Already have shackles
Bravada/awd mod Might get to this sooner
Mount Westin Brush Guard I got for $50
New windshield
Change Valve covers around lol they put oil fill valve cover on the drivers side















Bad Drivers Side Door pin/bushing
Guess Past owner didn't know about oversize bushings and they didn't even put the door spring back in on drivers side or passenger door lol





Stupid Throttle body Spacer I Removed Cant believe They cost so much and do nothing. Glad I didn't buy it came on engine when I bought the Jimmy

 

So I really haven't got much done to the jimmy lately. I've just been buying some stuff like my $100 used 5 hp 60 gallon 220v air compressor I will post pictures of it later just have to clean it up lol it was covered in dirt as It was sitting in an old mans pole barn. It ran great just needs cleaned.

 

Just bought this for $15 it has a little surface rust but i will sand and repaint next spring.

Yea went to pay for it at the pick and pull and she said $15 my jaw almost dropped.

Going Back Thursday to got the stuff to make my jimmy AWD. I found all the stuff off a 94 bravada while I was there the first time tried to get it off got all bolts off but 2 and I busted my knuckles trying to get them off but they were way too tight.

My New Kobalt Impact Wrench I just bought should get those bolts off
