Ok, about the post that a typhoon will get smoked by a turboed s10 blazer. Well the typhoon is all wheel drive if I remimber correctly, I assume you neat little small block s10 blazer is 2wd correct? If you had a turbo, you cannot get the traction of a typhoon awd, you would just sit and burn rubber.
Back in my school days A buddy of my built a s-10 short box 2wd with a 352 small block destroker chevy. It had a narrowed ford 9 inch rear on a air bag 4 link set up. With 200 pounds of ballast in the back he could barely keep up with a stock typhoon. even with 32-12 drag slicks the little truck had major loss of traction. It would take a very good driver to launch that pickup and make some good time. That typhoon launched with just a chirp and away he went!!!!!!!!

roll race

i agree, my buddys typhoon launches really hard, one of the hardest launching vehicle i have been in. there is a couple SBC s10's around here that will beat him and hang with him on the launch.

so i did some work to it. got new comfy better seats, took the bench seat out, hooked up my heater core and took my re bumper off for the roll pan. i gotta modify the pan to work since it dosent fit the best, it came off a 91 s10. i also found a perfect fender flare from a new jeep commander on the side of the road, im going to use it for the back becuase my tires stick out.

You could deal with your traction issues with wider tires too... They make 295 tires in a 15inch... Would definatley help.

IMO, the stock Typhoon will eat the V8 blazer, turbo or not... Hands down, in any conditions... Typhoons are nasty, and a stock typhoon would kill a stock vette of the same year up to about 150kmph, then the vette will catch it. I knew a guy with a typhoon we got to ride in, and there wasnt anything with more than 2 wheels that could touch it on the streets. I think the typhoon was the quickest accel vehicle in GMs line up in the early 90s... Not to mention they sound absolutley badass too.

typhoons are fast, but factory they only run high 13's-low14's. there is alot of rwd cheap street cars around here that run 12's. but said street cars dont handle as well or break as well as the sy/ty. also the typhoon is just straight cooler and an easier DD.

ok so last night i traded some lowering blocks i got for free from my buddy for a pair of spacers for my blazer. i decided to put them on the front to give the front some poke to match the back a little bit.
