Project: Refresh
Its been awhile since ive been on here. Have finally gotten sometime to spend on the truck and thought i would start a minor build thread.
Its minor changes, more like updating the old. For those that don't know much about the truck. Its a 97 Oldsmobile Bravada. Bought it about 4 years ago, second owner. only had 55k on it and probably one of cleanest bravadas on the road.
This is how it started - 2months in, stayed this way for about a year:
20" Wheels
Euro tail ( Yea dont know what i was thinking at the time)
Next came the Export Blazer tails, Properly wired up ( I have a write up on here some where)
And the sound system
It stayed like this for about 2 years...
About a year ago, I started updating a few things...
Picked up new wheels and tires
Along with upgrading the brake system, New calipers, Brembo slotted rotors, and hawk pads
And thats how she sits today
Anyways...now for the recent changes....I just finished the MPFI conversion. If you havent done it...Do it! Its like night and day.
-Throttle body was polished and slightly ported
-New K&N cold air system, old one had a crack in it.
-Mild Tune with HPtuners
-I started using the truck as it was intended, so the sub enclosure got in the way. I removed it and went smaller with easier removal.
This is what im currently running. Ported 1940's suitcase running a 10w3v3. reinforced and sealed with fiberglass. Im currently working on something else as my interior plans have changed.
Interior Change. Wood grain has been replaced with gator.
So still to come, Facelift. Going with the 98+ blazer grill and lights. keeping the bravada bumper. Will look like this:
Also suspension work, which will include a subtle drop.
More updates to come.....

After searching high and low, I came across them on the UK ebay site. Funny thing was the guy selling them was on his way to texas. So he shipped them from there, which saved me a butt load on shipping. Ended up getting them for a steal. Ive been on the hunt for a second set, but with no luck.
