instead of shackles you can also get an add-a-leaf. Which is also fairly easy to do. If you plan on getting different rims you want to get ones as close as possible to 6in backspacing. The farther they stick out the the size of tire that will fit decreases

For everyone wondering my stock tire size they are 235/75/r15. I will not be in the market for new tire for awhile. I have only had my blazer like 6 months and the tires where new on it just before i got it. They are firestone destinations. I have had them off roading already up at my grandparrents farm (cuz they dont grow anything haha) and they worked out good. So ill be sticking with these tires until they get worn out

are you a ****ing idiot? not one part of that makes sense. 6in backspace and the rim will damn near rub plus the tire. get 2.5in backspacing so they stick out hella far and you fit bigger tires.

He is right about the back spacing. Check around the forum, there are a few threads about wheel spacing and tire sizes.
