i have had this truck several years and have always loved it. My 17 year old girl had a diabetic black out and rolled it. She is fine but the truck is a mess They say totaled i say Bull!
Most say i am crazy for trying but i know i can fix it not a doubt in my mind and i am fixing to show all the nay Sayers. This is a 1996 Old's Bravada! I have got a bit done. 1. stripped drivers side doors off 2. left front fender off 3. cleaned all broke glass out 4. right doors are fine but took off. 5. taking all trim off it will go back painted black 6. top is to come rest of the way off so i can open the post back up and re instal roof. |

weather stripping all pulled.
now i have you pretty much up to date on where i am at. fixing to cut the front part of the roof off so i can straiten and square it all back up. got to get rest of the body trim off to. This is going to be a long project so stay tuned. i will take pics all the way! |
i admire your conviction..i hope you can save it.
should go for a convertible look ...blazer/wrangler type job. just saying...half way there. good luck man...keep us posted. |

Wow... I would have found a rig with a blown motor or something and swapped whatever good parts were left on this one over. That's a helluva project you have going there, good luck!

That looks like one hell of an accident but glad to hear she was ok. Looks like a lot of work but would be sweet if you can completely fix it.

yes i am very thankful she is ok. she was worried bout me being mad i was to happy she was ok to be mad.

got the top off so i can open all the post back up to re attach the roof.

haha, good to see you have a great sense of humor about it all. Great that she was fine. just goes to show that our trucks were built to take all the damage and not transfer it to us

bin back at work on the ole girl. got the top back on and new windshield in. I am fare from done but in the next few days she will be back to drivable!
I have tout and tout on the paint job and decided to camo the ole girl. going to camo her in the Advantage pattern that pattern is a leafy pattern! i am going to paint all the trim grill and bumpers black to break up the camo i think it would look better trimmed in black. what ya think? hears a few pics to bore ya. |
