If you can still fit the tires you want to run, I would lower the front to match the rear. If you do it the other way around, I would be concerned about your front driveshaft angle. I've seen several SAS S-10s with Bluetooth front driveshafts because people didn't think about that.

It wasn't supposed to be this tall lol! Plan was 37-40 inch tires. The drive line angle doesn't look terrible but I didn't have them with me today to test. Im thinking removing a spring off the front will be the way to go. The front is very stiff even with the drive train in it now.

Mine started out quite a bit taller than it is now, but I've lowered it over the years. I started out with the 6" front springs off my K5 with one leaf removed and I'm currently running 2-1/2" springs with all leaves still in place. But my rig is a tank, so it rides pretty nicely and gets plenty of flex with the K5 springs.
My drivetrain (SM465/NP205) was really short, so my driveline angle in front was terrible. I replaced the 205 with a divorced-mount Atlas so it's all good now.
Anyway, I'm enjoying following your build. Keep posting your progress.

Thanks Tom! I'm just using what I have right now. I know I will change everything a few times before I'm happy with it. Just wanting to get it running and driving before I start changing things. See too many builds get started and people start upgrading before its ever on the road and never get finished.

Thanks Don! Its slowly getting there... didn't get as much done today as I wanted. I will say the 350 dropped in very easy and without a fight. The trans and transfer case went in smoothly as well. Im almost scared I missed something lol.

What will you be using for the fuel delivery? Carb? EFI?
