That's looking pretty good, I guess. Well except for those wimpy tires. I'm assuming you are saving up for some REAL tires to install soon?? ;) :D :icon_verzsilly:

thanks Christine and I know, I think the 44s look kinda small. 😆 I think it will clear a 46 to 48" tire. In all honesty I will be running 38-42 inch tires on the street.

Slow progress on the jimmy but trying to tie up all the little things and there is a lot. Been cleaning up wiring and getting the 4x4 shifter figured out. I need this truck ready for winter.

Really nice job building this Hess, makes me want to do this to my blazer so bad. I will be taking notes from you and Tom when I finally decide to put 1 tons under mine. That picture of the two jimmys front to front looks crazy! Wondering how much you moved the front axle forward from the stock location?

Thanks! Its been fun. The next one won't be as radical lol. I think I pushed the axle forward 3 1/2 inches.

Today's project has been moving the radiator forward enough to clear the stock 4.3 fan. I did remove the a/c condenser but I think I've got room to put it back in with some mods. I also got the factory v6 tach to work with the carbed v8. Obviously its off but with thst working i can use the factory fuel pump wiring to work with my low pressure electric pump.
