Oh yeah these aren't going to stay on the Jimmy. I'm going with 32/11.5 or 33/10.5 when I buy tires. I have no room for articulation. I am going to move the rear axle back though.

I've got 33s on mine, and I had a little rubbing still on the rears. I've trimmed just a little, need to do more. I was wheeling it pretty hard, though.

Yea I'm going to redrill the leaf spring pin hole in the axle pad to move the axle away from the rear doors. I'm going to trim or just remove the plastic bumper extension and build a custom rear bumper to match my front.

Gonna lengthen the driveshaft any? SYE perhaps?

Hess13x May 14, 2019 03:09 PM

That is the plan eventually. Solid axle the front and stretch the wheel base. That's why I haven't gone with the 6in ifs lift. Long term plans also include a V8 swap. This truck is my daily but I could walk to work if I had the ambition lol. It's more of a play toy so I think I'm going to just strip an 80s Chevy half ton of all the running gear and loose all the computer and electronics in the Jimmy. That is a few years down the road though.

Mount an "oh $#!t" handle on the driver side to pull your self up better. :icon_goofygrin:
