The tranny swap was very easy. I gatherd all the parts needed so i was prepared. The most difficult thing to install for me was the clutch and brake pedal. Driling through the firewall and dealing with wires in the way. the fire wall has dimples in it as to were the holes need to be drilled for the slave cyl.
I used a tranny out of a zr2 blazer my transfer case bolted right up and would have been able to use the stock size driveshaft it it was not for the solid axle swap.
Other than that a hole in the floor for the shifter and some other odds and ends it went very well we a buddy and i did it in 2.5 hours with a hoist.

Hmm, well I guess I shall start gathering parts then, im on my 3rd Tranny and its on its last limbs as well....the automatic's just dont stand up to the abuse off road.
Thanks for the help!
