I used a tranny out of a zr2 blazer my transfer case bolted right up and would have been able to use the stock size driveshaft it it was not for the solid axle swap. Other than that a hole in the floor for the shifter and some other odds and ends it went very well we a buddy and i did it in 2.5 hours with a hoist. |
Hmm, well I guess I shall start gathering parts then, im on my 3rd Tranny and its on its last limbs as well....the automatic's just dont stand up to the abuse off road.
Thanks for the help! |
5 speed is the way to go. Good luck!
