TDI Blazer?

has anyone put a 3L TDI in a Blazer? I have been seriously contemplating that project

i have been tossing around the idea of this as well with a 4bt cummins. i would love to see it done, and it would be an amazing improvement to a blazer.

there's a 4bt sas crew cab s10 ZR2, search youtube and you'll find it.

the 4bt is getting quite common, the size of it makes it quite the task to install in a 4x4 blazer. i am thinking the vw3 liter or up to the 4.2 liter would work nicely

So without major modification to the front end, a 6bt would be out of the question? lol

a 6bt would sit in your lap lol

But a 4bt conversion will cost you a pretty penny.

1) IFS handle that weight? ( A sas would handle the weight better)
2) They are hard to come by (A running one)
3) Motor mounts
4) Tranny
5) Price of diesel vs gas

Just convert it to run on vegetable oil or something. ^^

I think he needed a 2" bl and a cowl hood to clear the motor. I'm also not sure if there'd be room with the crossmember and everything with the 4bt and ifs.
