shackle bolts and bushings are such a pain. Glad I don't have a 2 door... I didn't have to drop the gas tank

I got that far on the shackles and had to torch the 2 lower ones out. I have a 2dr and just dropped the two rear bolts on the gas tank right before they came out and my upper shackle bolts cleared the lip of the tank.

So you're doing the 5" TM lift plus a 3" shackel lift right?
Question, How high can you go before the angle of the driveshaft is too critical? I Put the TM lift in the front-end of my Blazer but I haven't gotten to the rear-end yet. I wanna either put 2-3" lift blocks with the 2-3 degree taper(to correct the driveshaft angle a little.) Or a 2-3" AAL but i don't know about the driveshaft angles with the AAL. Reason why I'm asking is my friend had a 8" suspension lift on a late 90s F250 and he was on the highway and his rear driveshaft flew out. (not cause it was a Ford! cause the driveshaft was angled too much.) It's a good thing it didn't flip him over, I've heard of that happening too.
And another question, are you gonna swap the gears for 4.10s or 4.56s? I'm putting 34" TSLs on my Blazer with 4.46s. I didn't want it to be sluggish when I'm driving up hills. And I have a friend who has 33s on his blazer with 4.10s and he told me that I should go to 4.56s cause his truck is a bit slow when he goes up hills.
