HOW TO: Glass Cleaning 101
actually my fave windoe cleaner...fabreeze lol...and a couple shop towels...those ones in the blue rolls at AA and autozone..just kinda picked up a bottle one day say...well its all i have..and since then..its all i use for my windows..and a small squigee
I use newpapers, perferable black and white print, the color print streaks...Also I use whats in your window washer, the fluid from there, it does great!! And its cheap, also it takes the bugs off the car really great, but no good for tar. But for a buck and change for a gallon, you can't go wrong.
Today I was cleaning, detailing my blazer for when it goes in for surgery tomorrow lol (intake etc). A few weeks ago I picked up Lucas Liquid Polish at an auto parts store, $7 on a whim & I've always liked Lucas products. So I'm reading it & it says "cleans, conditions & protects all painted & glass surfaces instantly" etc etc
Ok lets have at 'er... wiped it on a side window, watched it haze almost immediately & wiped it off with a dry micro fiber cloth... OMFG I felt it go from the resistance of the haze to what can best be described as wet ice on wet ice! Talk about clear & a shine, the windows look damn near new. I'm betting if you do your entire vehicle with this it will lower the drag coefficient & improve gas mileage it's so smooth. lol
