that havent been cleaned in 4+ years. They have really caked on brake dust, and ive tried everything. Ive been hitting them with very fine steel wool, but this is the progress ive been making. I want something I can spray on, spray off......help me please:)

Have you tried Varsol? I've used it to get the dirt caked grease out of my door hinges and it's not hard on the paint at all (from what I can tell)... I don't think it'd be too harsh but at the same time may do the trick to dissolve the brake dust.

I'd try a power ball and some mag polish

cleaning brake dust etc.

I left a post about this but it seems to have dissapeared. I have just cleaned some wheels that look like new now. I used Castrol Super Clean. I sprayed it on a dry wheel and let it sit for a while and wash it off. You keep repeating this and it will come clean. I also used a power ball with some brasso polish. You can put liberal amounts of brasso on with your hand and while it is wet start with the powerball. When you wash this off it should look good. If not repeat the process again. The more you do the more you remove and the better it looks.
