i work at a toyota dealership, as a detailer and the lot manager

Spectreblazer 01-11-2010 09:40 PM

blazer looks good. just not a big fan of toyotas.:icon_starwars:

Nice job! Gotta love professional detailing jobs.

old skool luvr 01-12-2010 09:38 PM

hmmmm...................

nice job on the detailing. even though your truck is a plain Jane white Blazer (no offence, still a nice looking truck though), but i think your real reason was to come on here spoutin' off the "F" word & shownin' off your bosses big bling! :icon_rolleyes:

remember, this is a "family" geared forum, so in the future, we won't tolerate you saying F**d on here. consider this your first (and last) warning. :icon_laugh:

seriously though, nice lookin' trucks (both of them), but a less shakey pic of your bosses truck would've been better. does he get you to detail his too?..............

zedartwo 01-12-2010 09:57 PM

I loved working at a car wash. My old car got cleaned inside every time I worked and outside when I saw some dirt...so almost every time i worked lol

bumpinBEATS95 01-12-2010 10:20 PM

im not a fan of toyotas either, but the job was straight handed to me so im not complaining

sorry about the shackiness, the pics were taken on my iPhone.
i know my trucks plain, but im in the process of putting ground effects and a roll-pan and painting it pearl white with blue flakes, also some nice rims.
i detail his truck every now and then

:icon_no: not the ground effects on a 4WD truck. everything else sounds sweet-especially the pearl white w/blue flakes, but skip on the ground effects.

bumpinBEATS95 01-13-2010 07:48 PM

what do u think i mean by ground effects?

old skool luvr 01-13-2010 11:01 PM

^^^ground effects belong on a lowered/dumped vehicle, not a 4x4. been discussed around here quite a bit actually.

bumpinBEATS95 01-13-2010 11:20 PM

i know where ground effects belong, but idc, i dont use my 4x4, and dont plan on it, plus im working on turning my blazer more on the side of a show truck than a 4x4

old skool luvr 01-13-2010 11:32 PM

i'm not knockin' that you want a show truck (i figured that with the ground effects comment), i was just saying it may not look right. you've just got to be sure about whatever you decide to slap on.

be sure and start a build thread when you decide to get rollin' on the project.

GL.

bumpinBEATS95 01-14-2010 06:34 AM

alright

Sisk 01-14-2010 08:59 AM

You better be planning to drop the 4x4 a bit if you're putting ground effects on...other wise it will look HORRIBLE.
I agree though, start up a build thread whenever you get started. BTW - If you don't use your 4x4, why not sell it and buy a 2wd Blazer. That way you can drop it right down

i was gonna suggest that as well Alex, but thought against it, since i was already (kinda) bashing on him about the whole "ground effects kit" thing. :icon_wink:

Looks good but if I could throw a suggestion in here. Use some "Paint Cleaner" on a DA and apply it to your rear side window trim (Black Plastic Trim). Will clean the trim to a shine.

stevo 02-20-2010 10:12 PM

lol that just reminded me of what i saw across from a toyota dealership on dixie highway
there were two guys holding up a massive sign that said
"toyota a danger to america" LOL

I like the 'plain jane' look. And I especially like the custom purple stripes on your boses F. Kind of makes you wonder though. Neither you, nor your boss drive a T. And I would assume you both would get discounts. Nothing like being loyal to your employer.
