In search of a new electric pressure washer
I have a gasoline washer and it works well, but i get tired of messing with it, I bought a small [1600 psi] ryobi and it has been working pretty well, but is loosing pressure, I'm on the hunt for a new electric. I would like to stay under a couple hundred bucks, ..........My problem is that the price range goes from under a 100 for a harbor freight [portland] on up in price to the " american made" [I'm not real sure that there are any "american made" out there any more..........
They all seem to have more positive than negative reviews........... So I just thought I might get a few opinions here.........after all, i see a lot of mud covered blazers in some of these threads ::icon_wink: and there is no shortage of opinions....... |
YARD FORCE 1600 PSI All-in-1 Electric Pressure Washer.
I use this one at work to clean air conditioning units. I've also used it to clean the engine on my Blazer. It's small and compact. I use a 6 in 1 tip with it instead of buying several different tips. |
Thanks Gold, that's what i wanted to hear, I actually have researched the yard force, I think LOwes sells them..............so far yard force is my first choice, #2 is probably the harbor freight portland.........
there just aren't a lot of moving parts to these things, the pump is the expensive part, and 90% [or more] of them are from the same Chinese factory....... I always like the hunt better than the kill anyway...... |
If I'm not mistaken Yard Force is made in China too.
|
Yes it probably is, with things changing in world trade, maybe we will be able to buy more MADE IN AMERICA, in a few years............or at least have more of a choice.......
I did some work on my little ryobi, and got it doing a pretty good job again....[ it has enough pressure to sheer small weeds in my drive way]..but I will probably go with one of the yard force machines when it gives up....... |
I ordered a Sun Joe model..here's a link.
