THICK oil in carpet
 

I had a bottle of Lucas oil stabalizer in my back cargo area and one day I was helping a friend get parts for his camaro and one of the parts must have hit the bottle and broke the top off it. The bottle was atleast 3/4 full and nearly all of it came out into the carpet before I noticed. And if you've used Lucas, you know how THICK this stuff is! And if you haven't basically it's like honey only for your engine.

It's been a few weeks now and I put new newspaper down daily and it's still coming out. I even put kitty litter down and that soaks it up to, but i just can't seem to get it completely out. Does anyone have any good tips on how to get it out quickly? I'm getting really tired of dealing with this daily and feeling like I'm getting nowhere.

go to the yard and get another rug for the cargo area... easiest solution
