Is the biggest upgrade for power a 5.7 swap?

I have a gibson catback and I do not know much about motors but I have read around on the forums. Which is a better swap a V8 350 or a v8 5.7 vortec?

350 cubic inches == 5.7L same motor.

It all depends on how fast you want to go, how much money you want to spend, and how much time and effort you can allocate to the project.

Time is not a problem, How many different types of 5.7's are there for a blazer?

So i would have to look around for a motor from a full pick up, or could I just go on a website and buy one?

For anyone looking to do a v8 swap into an s-series vehicle, the definitive source for information is JTR.com. They literally wrote the book on the subject.
