2001 xtreme blazer 4.3 to Ls1 swap
 

Okay. I am sorry if i have overlooked somethin on this site but i am looking for info on this. Has anyone done this and documented step by step instructions on the swap and put a full parts list. I am not picky. I can even go without the a/c if someone knows of a thread somewhere where they took the a/c out. I am really wanting to do this myself and I want to have pretty much everything i need and most of the knowlege of how to do it before i even as much take one bolt out. i figured i wouldn't have a problem finding something on the web but i assure you i have been on here for about 5 hours looking for step by step details. i would really appreciate it. HELP!!!

There's a mag out there called GM High Tech, this issue just came out, like three weeks ago. On the cove they say swap a ls into anything, they have a ls on the cover, They put a ls into a s10 i think it was a 87 or somen like that, but they give you all the shops that they went to for the parts, like wireing,headers,machine shop,motor mounts,tranny mounts, I want to put on in blazer an have been thinking about it for years. This is best resource that i have found. Hope this helps an it's not to late
