i was looking at a picture of his motor mounts and i don't thing that the 2.8 frame mounts will bolt up but the spacing might work out on the metal part that bolts up to the block
[/align]this is a picture of his mount and i can't really tell how it bolts up it looks like a three bolt patern but i'd have to go up there and check it out i think i'll do that to seeif it works i'm in the middle of that swap i have those mounts i can go see if my conversion mounts will bolt up to his lower mount. I'll find out
okay so i went to autozone and had them pull the motor mount for a 91 4X4 4.3L blazer and i took my swap motor mount for an LS motor and it fit there was a little play between the swap mount and the motor mount but 1 washer on each side and you'd be good. Hope this helps
Yep, us 4x4 people have a lot more work with a V8 swap than 2WD people
Even more so if we're a 5-speed!
I know one guy had to get extensions welded on the 2WD mounts in his 4x4 for it to work properly...

So i was thinking about the motor mount i went and saw at autozone that B mounts to the motor so he has a solid bottom part that mounts to the frame that has that 4 bolt patern same as the 2.8 frame mount motor mounts so i dunno about the vertical part but it would bolt right up. The bolt holes are sloted in the lower part of the swap mount and if you swap them around right you can get the slots to be vertical so you can adjust where the motor sits up or down
You don't really need any up/down adjustment... You need forward/back...
With the LSx swap, you might even be able to get away without hammering the crap out of the firewall, lol.
Also, apparently, the 2.8 mounts are the strongest that were put in the s-series...
Though Energy Suspension has poly 4.3 mounts now.
