Comp makes some really good cams. Definitely a reputable company. IDK about the power gains in a 4.3 though. Great customer service reps though if you give them a call- they're actually pretty helpful. Just dont expect a 50HP gain.

wasn't really looking for performance, more just the sound cause i know on v8s they sound badass but not sure on a v6

i think those sound good and all, but thats a bit of time, money, and work just to sound like a V8 or whatever. Not to mention if you need to tune the PCM after so your engine runs right after the install.

I was looking at the 280HR but just make sure you know what your putting out before you start this project. I know the kits with the new rocker/lifters, ect can get up towards $1000. Do you want to spend that for a sound?

it depends saying i need new gears and a torque converter to could always use that money towards a 350 swap haha but that will be a loooooong time before that happens
