heads and cam LS1 in an 02 Blazer Xtreme

So this has been an ongoing project for awhile and its starting to kind of come to a close well atleast i hope. I got started on this project a little over a year ago and when i started i thought i'd just put the stock motor in there and southern engineer some stuff and i'd be back on the road well $8,000 later i'm finally starting to see the light of dayi only need 3 or 4 grand and she'll be done. here are some pics some were off my phone so i appologize for the lack of quality of some.

this was where i started to kind of change direction i had the motor in there with the new LS2 oil pan off of a corvette and i had already done some stuff that i didn't like the A/C box had clearance issues the steering shaft had issues the crossmember had clearance issues with the pan and i had kinda done some nice stuff but over all i was very unpleased with how it was looking. One day as i was sitting there looking at the motor all sweaty and hot as hell it was like 90 or so outside and i just said i won't be happy with this if i don't do this right so i started getting a list of things i wanted and things that i needed totaled out to be over 10,000 dollars so i said i'll find a way to get this done.

So i bought
-Current performance wiring harness custom made all brand new for the swap

I wonder if this could be done on a 4wd model. I have just started researching it so I'm not able to say weither or not it should/could.

My 4.3 has close to 150k and runs fine as of now....But I'd like to have a back up plan. Any thoughts? Pm me if you don't mind.

Thanks Rich

Sure why not, anything can be done with time and money. I have plans on putting an ls1 in the Bravada. Which is AWD

There is a guy in MI that put an LS1 in, didn't think that was enough power so dropped an LS2 in a ZR2, though it was a truck and not a blazer. He also swapped out the IFS from a 1/2 ton.

So, yes, it can be done.
