I had to learn the hard way from my mistakes, but I hate to see someone else struggle. I will help you guys as much as I can, but I will tell you, the 2x4 coversion is much easier than the 4x4 conversion, so grab the Origin of Tools list that was posted in Offtopic, and get used to that terminology.

yeah there are plenty of books on the conversion. i was gonna do it my self with my 4 bolt main. but building up the block was putting a hurt on my pockets. i just gonna rebuild and spiceup the 4.3 vortec.
