RE: Oil line leak

What do you mean? Where would you relocate the filter to? You can put it where ever you want given enough time and know-how.

Are you having problems removing your oil filter? More of an explaination of your concern/idea is necessary...

I need to change the lines to the oil filter but I don't think I can do it lying on the ground, want to try and get a remote oil filter kit that will go into the adapter where the origial oil filter goes and put the filter in the engine compartment.

Not sure I understand your problem.

Your oil fitler should be loocated under the splash guard. You can take the splash gaurd off to gain access to everything under there. I think there are 6-8 bolts holding the splash guard in place. The hard part will be getting to the engine side of the remote lines you have in there. The filter side should be mounted to the under side of the radiator support.

I know where everything is, was told, to remove the lines and install new ones, you have to unbolt the moter mount and lift the engine, is this so? Like I said it will be a little hard for a 60 year old guy to do this on the ground. Would be much better for me to cut the old lines out and put the filter in the engine compartment I think, or would it? Thanks:eek:
